Revolutionizing the logistics of "language" that supports all businesses,
making your business faster and more global.
We will continue to be a professional group that takes responsibility for the "last mile" and provides technology and solutions in a total manner for various "language" issues in each industry, company, and business.
We provide solutions tailored to customer issues, rather than relying on pre-made packages, through "semi-order" solutions.
"Language analysis and verification", "System planning and design", "Natural language processing and system development", the synergistic effect of these three core skills will create innovation within the industry.
We pledge that each member will greedily "grow" through new "challenges" without being bound by precedent or convention.
In 1993, I started my career as a freelance translator, utilizing my interest and curiosity in computers since childhood and my experience studying abroad in North America. While specializing in the field of localization, translating English software products developed in Europe and the United States into Japanese, I also worked as a TRADOS evangelist shortly after its launch in Japan. I was in charge of a series of articles introducing information technology terminology in the monthly magazine (at the time) "Interpretation and Translation Journal" (Ikaros Publishing). I also have extensive experience writing feature articles related to translation support tools. In addition to my work as a freelance translator, I also use my IT knowledge to undertake software development projects.
In 1997, at the age of 25, I joined as one of the founding members of L&H Mendez (now Lionbridge) Japan, and became the production manager in charge of localization operations. I have held various positions such as Executive Director of Amelia Network Co., Ltd., President and CEO of Portas Co., Ltd., Department Manager of Sun Flare Language Asset Management Division, and Representative Director of Acrolinx Co., Ltd. (based in Germany). While utilizing my background as a translator, I shifted my focus to activities aimed at streamlining and systematizing editing and translation operations in the enterprise. Through my experience in numerous fields, I realized that improving the QCD (quality, cost, and delivery time) of translation requires improvement on the source text side, and I began to consciously consider solutions that integrate the "production" work of the source text and the "translation" work as one.
Established in 2017, Cistate Solutions, Inc. based on the experience of "language", "information technology (IT)", and "business analysis", has created a team consisting of three pillars: analyst (language professional), engineer (IT professional), and architect (business analysis professional). With a new approach, we not only focus on translation, but also tackle various business challenges related to "language".
